Hello, I’m Riccardo.
I see problems and I fix them, in hardware, in software, and on the test bench. Curiosity usually picks which one. The fun part is making the thing actually work, and work well.

Design, Build, Prove
I like taking a thing the whole way, from the first idea to proof that it actually works. So far that has pulled me across three corners of engineering.
Design
It starts in power electronics, my home turf. I build custom tools that explore thousands of candidate designs, with optimization, thermal models, and a lot of simulation doing the heavy lifting before anything gets soldered.
Build
Hardware needs software, so I write it. Rust for the fast, reliable cores, Python for the analysis and data pipelines, and Tauri and the web for the parts people actually click on.
Prove
Then comes finding out whether any of it actually works, which is the day job now. I take the messy, exploratory testing and turn it into something repeatable and automated, with clear numbers instead of opinions.
