Timeline

  1. 2013

    First Arduino

    Bought an Arduino at thirteen and never really stopped building. A hundred-player Minecraft server somewhere in there taught me Linux and how to keep an Ubuntu box alive, which turned out to matter more than the server did.

  2. School

    Tesla Coils and a CNC That Never Cut Straight

    A graduation Tesla coil that worked better than it had any right to, then a wood-and-3D-printed CNC machine that rattled and never cut a straight line. The pattern showed up early: get curious, build the thing, learn five others by accident.

  3. 2023

    Master’s Thesis15 kW DC-DC converter

    Designed and built a 15 kW, 400 to 1000 V modular converter for automotive, from the schematic to a working rig on the bench. Six months that were mostly hardware, with the software it took to drive and measure it.

  4. 2023

    Power Electronics EngineerBRUSA HyPower

    Stayed in automotive power electronics, designing converters in earnest. Hardware was home turf, but it kept pulling me into the tools, the Rust engines and Python analysis that modern hardware design quietly depends on.

  5. Now

    Test EngineerHilti

    Precision laser measurement systems. The job is taking messy, exploratory testing and turning it into something repeatable, automated, and measured: order from chaos, in miniature, which is the part I like.
